Three-day festival at Cornerstone Sonoma and Old Sugar Mill will feature independent films, industry programming and honored guest Larry Namer, co-founder of E! Entertainment Television.

SONOMA, Calif. — September 2026 — The inaugural Horizon International Film Festival (HIFF) will take place Sept. 25–27, 2026, bringing independent filmmakers, entertainment industry professionals and guests together for three days of screenings, panels, networking and special events at Cornerstone Sonoma and Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg, California.

Presented by 24 Collins Studios and founded by filmmaker and producer Minh Collins, the festival will feature documentary, feature and short films alongside filmmaker Q&As, industry discussions, receptions and an awards ceremony.

Larry Namer, co-founder of E! Entertainment Television, will attend as a special honored guest and participate in festival programming, including an Opening Night industry panel and a Sunday fireside chat. Namer will receive the 2026 Horizon International Film Festival Lifetime Achievement Award during the festival’s Closing Night Awards Ceremony.

“Horizon is about more than screening films,” Collins said. “We want to create an environment where filmmakers can celebrate their work, connect with industry professionals and build relationships that may lead to their next opportunity.”

The festival opens Friday, Sept. 25, at Cornerstone Sonoma, 23570 Arnold Drive, with filmmaker registration, a VIP welcome reception, opening ceremony and industry programming. Opening Night will include the panel “The Future of Global Entertainment: Innovation, Distribution & Building Worldwide Media Brands.”

Programming continues Saturday, Sept. 26, at Cornerstone Sonoma with documentary, feature and short-film screenings, filmmaker Q&As and a Wine Country reception.

On Sunday, Sept. 27, the festival moves to Old Sugar Mill, 35265 Willow Ave. in Clarksburg, for networking and media activities, Namer’s fireside chat and the red-carpet Closing Night Awards Ceremony & Celebration.
